You can change the font size in your iOS device’s Settings. Tap the Comment icon () located in the navigation bar on the bottom of the screen to read all comments and leave your own. You can read comments on most articles in the iOS News app. To enable the Shared with You section follow these steps: You must have Shared with You enabled in your device’s settings in order to view this section. Select the person icon on the top right hand side of the app to view the Shared with You section in your Account. Under My Account, you can see articles you’ve received from other New York Times readers in the Shared with You section. To learn more view, Gift Articles for New York Times Subscribers. Subscribers can also gift articles to non-subscribers. To share an article, tap the Share icon on the top right corner of the article. You can share articles from the iOS News app. To view your Saved for Later list, tap the person icon at the top right corner of the app and the most recently viewed articles will be at the top and then tap View All Saved Articles to view more saved articles. Saved Top Stories will be available offline from any of your devices. While online, you can access saved articles at any time from any of your devices. To remove an article, tap the Save icon again. Then, select the Save icon ( ) located in the navigation bar on the bottom of the screen to add the article to your Saved for Later list. Open the article you'd like to save while logged in to your New York Times account. You can tap any title to view the full article. Then, type the word or phrase in the Search Articles search bar and then tap Search on your keyboard. Tap Sections on the bottom right hand side of the app screen. To update your news feed manually, pull down on the main screen and release. (Okay, I used that a week or two back, and it was pretty darn cool.) They’re capabilities that are there if you need them, but don’t get in your way if you don’t.To access the Settings for the iOS News app, tap the Settings icon on the top right on the front page or Sections tab of the app. You can even use AirPlay to display your Mac’s screen on an Apple TV. There’s a trackpad mode where the cursor follows around your finger as it goes, rather than your finger panning the screen around. For example, you can use your Bluetooth keyboard paired with your iOS device to control your Mac Screens even supports a Dvorak layout for your hardware keyboard. Some of them I even found out about while writing this. In truth, though, I don’t even use most of the advanced features that Screens offers. I’ve got connections to all three of my home Macs stored in the app, and it syncs those via iCloud to both my iPad and my iPhone. ![]() There’s plenty to like about Screens, but just to name a few things off the top of my head: It’s speedy, its interface gets out of the way when do you don’t need it, and it’s good looking too-not every app can pull off purple as a primary color. ![]() Screens lets you store connections to multiple computers, and can even provide a screenshot of their last known state.
